Im not going to lie but the music did not do much for me I
think that nature music would have been better. My boyfriend thought I was
listening to a documentary on ducks or chickens by the sound of the voice. His
voice is very soothing and relaxing, I think he gave too much information;
although I did not know that 80% of your blood is in your abdomen/GI tract,
while the rest is circulating your body at a resting state. I also like how he
gave a visual example of how the body is compared to a dry sponge. As I
attempted this exercise I was having a hard time relaxing cause of my dog being
a pain in the butt…running all over the house and unwilling to lay down and be
calm with me! I will say though at the end of this pod-cast I fell asleep so I
guess it worked. I slept a good hour and had no idea.
I had to do the exercise twice but I had a similiar experience. I felt very relaxed and had a good nights sleep. I tried to get my nine year old son to join me but he declined.
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole! I had to laugh when I saw that you said your boyfriend thought you were listening to a documentary on ducks or chickens! That's hilarious. That music was a little brutal to listen to and then on top of that the man's voice was very soothing and even toned. The exercise did have some interesting facts in it so while I wouldn't listen to it again, I did find it fun to hear at least once.
